About Us

VERO was started in 2021 because, let’s be real, we looked around at our competitors and thought, “We can do this better.” We have had two goals since day one, eliminate the nonsense & confusion that surrounds employee health benefits and give our clients an experience they won’t find anywhere else. Gone are the days of insurance being transactional, we treat our clients like family (the ones you like) & we want to make sure you have the best possible coverage you can.

Desi Allazetta

Founder / President

Desi is a desert native, born and raised in Las Vegas before heading down to Scottsdale in pursuit of new opportunities. With almost a decade of experience in the benefits industry under his belt, Desi felt it was time to follow in his Papa’s footsteps and start his own insurance agency, thus giving birth to VERO.

As a benefit advisor, Desi specializes in crafting tailored benefit packages for small and mid-sized businesses. He understands that while cost is important, knowing how to maximize benefits is equally crucial. Drawing from his accounting degree from the University of Redlands and his passion for education, Desi ensures that you’re well taken care of.

Beyond his work at VERO, Desi is also passionate about giving back. He founded Collective Motoring, organizing various automotive charity events under the motto “Drive with a purpose.” These events not only raise money and awareness for charity partners but also create memorable experiences for participants.

When he’s not busy at VERO or organizing charity events, Desi enjoys indulging in hobbies like golf, car shows, and snowboarding. He is a proud member of the Men’s Art Council, supporting the Phoenix Art Museum. But most importantly, and the reason he works so hard is to spend quality time with his family. Alongside his wife, Makena, and their newest addition, Lucca, Desi loves exploring local coffee shops and restaurants, both in town and on their travels.
